Resin is a visual effects studio with a specialty in long form series and feature film visual effects.
Established in 2006 and a member of Ausfilm our studio is structured around an experienced core team that expands to suit project needs. This structure benefits in two ways, we have the expertise to tackle anything within the visual effects spectrum but also the agility and physical infrastructure to scale for volume and the timeline pressures of series and film visual effects production.
Our most recent reel includes work from the Sony and Channel 4’s Philip K. Dick derived and Bryan Cranston produced science fiction anthology series, Electric Dreams and award winning title sequence for the series Romper Stomper. Recent work is unable to be shown and includes work as primary vendor on Shawn Seet and Sony feature film, Storm Boy which included a digital double animal, water simulation and environmental work, 100+ shots over 12 weeks, Netflix Original Tidelands, sole vendor, 200+ shots including water simulation, digital double human, bespoke effects and then providing additional visual effects to the films The Nightingale and Hotel Mumbai.
Projects most suited to our studio are long form series or small to medium films. Qualifying international projects also benefit from access to 40% in rebates and a favourable exchange relative to the US dollar making Resin more than price competitive with any studio in the world. Whilst this benefit is undeniable, our work and what we can achieve with that budget is the number one benefit to consider our studio for your production.
